Road crossing is an ADVENTURE

"Now 'member grown-ups sez to hold hands when we cross the street...and only when the green man is there!"

"Grown-ups say we're not sposed to be anywhere without a grown-up either."

"Yeah but that's fer babies and we're big kids now! 'Sides this is an ADVENTURE! Grown-ups dun have ad-ventures."


You know one of the things i like about little kids is that at that age you can do all sorts of things without people looking at you funny Like boys can hold hands with other boys or girls and hardly anyone is going to immediately assume they are gay or going out etc ~

A couple of days ago i saw the little Pre-Primaries going off to whatever activity it was they had (i work casual in my old school, which is primary and secondary combined). Anyway Pre-Primaries are taught to always hold hands with their line partner and there were two little boys in particular that had my attention.

One of them was enthusiastically hyper swinging his friend's hand, whilst his friend was kind of allowing him to with a somewhat "Calm down" look (you could see he was restraining the swing so that both their shoulders wouldn't get dislocated lol )

Of course i immediately thought of .D and Izm

Izm would be that kid that would vigorously swing hands and just chatter away, whilst .D would be that kid that would patiently put up with your antics until he got annoyed, in which case he would tell you to stop and then hit you with his backpack when you failed to do so

_{Just a reminder that .D and Izm never met when they were younger so this is just a fun little "what if" pic lol}

HAPPY FUN CHALLENGE-O TIME-O IF YOU WANT-O

Draw your OCs as children and make it recogniseable who will grow up into whom. Try not to make the child versions simply scaled down versions of their older selves (cos that's INCONCEIVABLE LOL)
