Oh i made myself sad.


Have you heard about the Butterfly Effect? Basically it's when one small change at a point causes a different outcome later. Like being a second too late or a second too early in noticing something ~

This is something i've wanted to animate for a long time, except i realised i just dont have the patience to do it (the original idea would have been animated twice for the different viewpoints) and so figured i should just make it a comic and then at least it will be finished to some degree |D It follows the same WHAT IF? as Redback's Revenge but shows both of their resulting timelines simultaneously. If you want to read it "properly" you should follow the split panels straight down and they'll give you one of the boy's timelines, though the song lyrics branch across both sides to tie them together.

The original inspiration for this comic was actually this {Runaway} song (hahaha..."happy hardcore" they said, not whilst i'm listening to it i said) which would have worked fine for an anim but a bit harder to show in a comic. So then i was listening to a playlist by t3h-b4n3 and re-found Hurt - Johnny Cash (odd to think it's a cover of a Nine Inch Nails song lol), to which i was like "wow this is such a sad song...it's perfect." You should have it playing as background music for this thing it's great.
