I remembered black skies, the lightning all around me
I remembered each flash as time began to blur Like a startling sign that fate had finally found me And your voice was all I heard that I get what I deserve So give me reason to prove me wrong, to wash this memory clean Let the floods cross the distance in your eyes Give me reason to fill this hole, connect the space between Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies across this new divide ~ Linkin Park, "New Divide" Lol songs giving me inspiration for stuff. You should listen to it when looking at this pic, it's more fun |D But yah, Future!HH based and a symbolic representation of the below "scenario" i thought up. Also i just wanted to do a pic which incorporated shadows and white space :3 If you look carefully you can see their shadows are of their Hedone High past selves. --- A rather formidable government agent and a powerful drug lord, such opposite walks of life maybe they couldnt be the "best friends" they were in High School. Or maybe they could, if Izm could breach that gap of mistrust and anger A.E.D had (dimming the other's want to arrest him would be great, too). After all, they had broken the contract the minute they had assigned .D to the "Redback Case". What, they thought he wouldn't find out? There was no love lost between Izm and them - he was no longer obliged to hold up particular bits of his end of the bargain. Besides, they had kept .D out of a number of internal loops for their own purposes. Loops .D should probably know about. Izm knew, because he was one such loop. So he was going to tell A.E.D everything. Everything he knew anyway. It was risky (they'd find out, eventually) and might take a bit of convincing, but hopefully .D would believe him - see the truth. And it might take a while but if .D believed then hopefully, eventually, the mistrust would fade. And if that gap could be breached then their friendship would most likely be re-established (not that Izm had ever stopped being .D's friend, but .D ...). Just like the good old days. That scenario is awesome- just enough mystery to keep me hooked.
And the shadow thing-- absolutely brilliant making it of their past selves. I love it.
Loving the contrast between the bright light and the shadows, along with the subtle differences between their stances (along with the similarities too!)
Along with the divide in the middle-- It really gives off that air of seperation and division.
I always love how you give your pictures that extra touch with your descriptions. c: It always makes the picture that much more personal and alive.
